A&T Group Interiors funds fit out for Dubai Autism Center

A&T Group Interiors announced its support to fund the fit out of a new Art Therapy Room for Dubai Autism Center. The new state-of-the-art room will accommodate and support additional children in need of special education services.

This initiative is being led by the A&T Group Interiors under the UAE’s Year of Tolerance, a national initiative led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The aim of the UAE’s Year of Tolerance is to provide a framework for initiatives, highlighting and emphasizing tolerance as a universal concept aimed at entrenching the values of tolerance, dialogue, coexistence and openness to different cultures. Children are at the core of the for A&T Group Interiors CSR initiative, and through its support of the Dubai Autism Center, it aims to help open the doors of opportunity for children with special needs in the UAE.

Autism is the most common of the Pervasive Developmental Disorders, affecting an estimated 1 in every 59 births, the incidence of Autism is in the diagnosis of Autism in the last decade. Founded in 2001, Dubai Autism Center is the largest, most innovative and comprehensive nonprofit organization in the United Arab Emirates serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
